Dancing driver

Every time I go to pick up my kids, I have to wait at this traffic light, which is never green when I arrive there. Since I try to make every situation fun, I thought I could find something fun about this boring traffic stop. So, I started to look at the faces of all of the drivers that passed me. It is a lot of fun and amazing. There are so many different kinds of hair colors and skin colors and facial expressions, that I feel I should pick up drawing just to capture all of them. Well, while I was again waiting for the traffic light to turn green today, I noticed something else that was interesting. From all of the facial expressions I noticed, the sad expression was the most dominant. Maybe they were just serious or thoughtful or annoyed, but in general they looked sad. I didn't like it, and it made me sad. After I picked up Gillian from school, one of my favorite songs came on the radio. I started singing along and then dancing while driving. Gillian had to remind me that hands go in the steering wheel and not in the dancing and shaking. That made me laugh, just imagining what I would look like if someone from another car noticed me. That game me an idea. When we stopped at the traffic light again on the way home, I started my jig and had a big smile on my face. Gillian thought I was crazy, well, funny crazy, and kept laughing. I hope I made someone smile even though they may think I was crazy. So, my friends, when you catch yourself being sad or serious in the car, just imagine Melita shaking her body and twisting her arms and singing off tune while driving. Is the smile there yet?
