This weekend, my friend, Rebecca, and I
were able to accompany our girls to the Annual District 13 Honor
Chorus, a two day state chorus training. In the end of the two day
rehearsal, each division showcased their music in a concert for all of
the parents. This particular music district took place in Athens,
Georgia. On our first day there, after dropping the girls off and
making sure they had enough snacks, water, and moral support, we said
goodbye to them, and decided to enjoy the beautiful weather by strolling
through the Botanical Garden located near the University of Georgia. It
was the perfect break that we both needed - no babies crying, no kids
asking, no noises disturbing - just a peaceful walk in the woods.
Utterly divine!
