Six hours at Six Flags

Today was the last day of my children's spring break, so I asked Elijah if he could join us at Six Flags. He took the day off and joined us with pleasure. We packed up snacks, changing clothes, Charlton's food, and headed toward Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo. It's so close to us that we decided to get season tickets and take the children there often. There were twenty animal shows, the dolphin one being the most popular. There were rides for children, for families, and for the brave at heart, which I'll never be when it comes to thrilling coasters. Although we stayed there for about six hours, we were able to do only half of the rides and shows. It was so fun to be together as a family and especially fun to see our children enjoy themselves. Because one of us had to stay with Charlton, we would take turn accompanying our children to some of their rides. They are old enough to go on their own, but wanted to share their fun with us. Here are some pictures from today:

  1. How FUN! I've only been to the Six Flags in Georgia and haven't been there in ages... reading this account makes me want to go again! Gillian's hair is darling and Charlton has so much hair since we saw him last!! We were wondering, when do the kids start school again in the fall?
